AI Automation Engineer
Build the automations and AI agents that move work between our CRM, ad accounts and operations.
The role
A lot of agency work is moving data between systems: a lead from a form to the CRM and WhatsApp, a report from the ad accounts to a sheet, an invoice from email to accounts. You automate it.
You build workflows in n8n and Make, and agents that call LLM APIs to read, sort and draft. Every automation logs what it did, and anything that sends a message or spends money waits for a person to approve it.
You work with the full stack developer when a workflow should become part of our own platform.
Your week, roughly
- MondayPick the week's automations from the team's requests, with the hours each one saves.
- Tuesday to ThursdayBuild, test on real data, write it up.
- FridayCheck runs and failures across live automations. Fix the flaky ones.
What we look for
- Two or more years building automations in n8n, Make or Zapier that run in production.
- You call APIs directly when no connector exists: auth, pagination, rate limits, webhooks.
- You have used an LLM API inside a workflow and handled its bad outputs.
- Clear write-ups. Someone else can fix your workflow without calling you.
Where it leads
Own automation across the agency, then move into the engineering team's platform work.
